Scrapbook Cover Page

Jenny asks…
How do you make a handmade scrapbook cover page?
I cannot find anything cute that goes along with the theme of a "once upon a time" scrapbook. I bought this collection of once upon a time paper from Joann fabrics which is awesome! I'd like to make the scrapbook cover page from one of the pages. How do I do this nice and smooth? Is it possible? What kind of scrapbook do I buy? Help me! :0)

Scrappy answers:
Get a piece of chipboard and and but a a nice piece a material or a piece of paper over it then do whatever else you want to make it look nice. Hope this helps =)

Lisa asks…
How can I put together a scrapbook? (Putting all the scrapbook cover and pages together)?
I do not want to do it with a bow, I was thinking of stapling them together but are there another ways? I do not like the bow version because I don't want to keep adding pages I just want to make Nr 1, Nr 2 etc.

Scrappy answers:
You could try using prongs. You can even glue buttons or something on them to dress them up.
You can also find small silver rings that open to hold your book together. You can probably find them at a craft store or office supply store.

Nancy asks…
what is a good theme or topic for the first scrapbook cover page?
i'm in the process of making a scrapbook about myself so when i'm older i can look back on it. i've made the cover but now i don't know what to do for the first cover page; any thoughts ?

Scrappy answers:
That sounds like a great idea!
I think you could start with an introduction to yourself for the scrapbook cover page, a bit like your talking to someone you've just met, telling them a few things about yourself. Include your age, where you live (possibly) What pets you have (if any) and a few wishes you might want to share with your future self. This could remind you just what you were like. Maybe you could draw yourself, or put a picture of something close to you at that point in time, or a random snapshot of your room, to see how much it has changed.
Hope I helped
Have fun.

Sandra asks…
Pocket page for scrapbook?
Been scrapbooking a couple of years, and I saw something I would like to do. I have seen scrapbooks that are made up of all regular page-protector pages. Then on the back scrapbook cover page there will be a "pocket page" attached that other things are stuck inside, like a card, program, or other objects to take out and look through. Do you buy pocket pages, because I have never seen them anywhere, so where? Or can you make them yourself? How? Thanks!

Scrappy answers:
I make pocket pages all the time for report cards. Brochures, my kids school yearbooks, anything that I don't want to put adhesive on.
It's easy you can use the whole page of make it to the size of your item. You can do this several ways take two pieces of CS or 1 CS & 1 PAPER, cut 1 paper in 1/2, and secure the 2 sides & bottom only to the CS do not secure the top because that is where your pocket opening is. If I want to be able to see through it use vellum for the front portion of the pocket. Most often you will want to reinforce you pocket page by adding bads or eyelets around the 2 sides & bottom of your page. Good Luck!

NEED to locate 8 copies of "Scrap Its!" 10"x7" 30 page scrapbook w/window ASAP! Located only 1 copy on ebay.
Trying to locate this item for school photo project. Done numerous internet searches but found only 1 copy on ebay. A year ago, purchased 16 copies at Target in the $1.00 department. Is a 30-page paper scrapbook by "Scrap Its!". Dimensions are 10 in. x 7 in. Is spiral bound w/front & back covers similar to brown kraft paper but w/thickness of cardboard. Front cover has 3"x3" window cutout in center. Number located beneath barcode is 41769 01099. There is a number located above the barcode which reads 234-02-0071. As stated before, the brand name is "Scrap Its!" which is possibly a brand exclusive to Target. Located at bottom of merchandise tag is the following which I assume is manufacturer's information: Item #1099, D.G.I., LLC, Union, NJ 07083. If anyone has copies they would like to sell or if anyone knows where I might be able to locate the "Scrap Its!" brand via the internet, I would appreciate your letting me know!!
