Where can I find a heavyweight, hardbound sketchbook?

I am looking for a hardbound sketchbook (not spiral) that is
heavyweight (90lb to 140lb). Also, it's a plus if it has a canvas
cover so I can decorate it. This is for a very important art
class so I would like for this to look nice. Help?

A good hardbound sketchbook with good page quality?

Any on e recommend anything? i would like a hard cover book, with good quality pages, and especially one with flexible stitching so its not uncomfortable to draw on the paper? Under $20 would be nice thanks! Dimensions:8x11"

The most important question is what are you using it for. I find the moleskien books are really expensive and don't offer much in the flexibility department. If you are just doing sketches to try new ideas, go with a hardbound-it will go anywhere and your drawings are to be protected from wear. If you are using a sketch book for preliminary drawings that you may need to remove, to reproduce or scan go with a spiral because it will lie flat in the scanner. If you work in a particular type of media (watercolors buy a watercolor sketchbook) if you do a lot of paste ups or collage try a spiral withremovablee pages to give yourself some extra book so the book will close

Hardbound sketchbook?

I got one at Wal-Mart (gag) for $10. It was 8.5"X11" and had 80 sheets ("160 pages").

Is there another place or website that I can get them for a better price? I'd like to get about 4 or 5 more of them & definitely do not want to spend $60 on sketchbooks.

They don't have to be fancy; just a hardbound sketchbook. I'm using them for storlines. I take sticky notes and put them in order on the pages. I'm a writer, and don't have a bone in me that's capable of drawing. I'm innovative like that.

Wal-mart is your cheapest bet. Hardbound sketch books are NOT cheap, and ten dollars for one is a really good deal.

hardbound sketchbook anyone??

Can somebody please recommend hardbound sketchbook that have smooth, colored pages? I do not like the white nor dark sheets at all. I prefer grayish, or maybe yellow or cream.... anything light but not white. Where can I buy or order them?

Moleskine is amazing, cream colored pages and a dark leather bond. Creates amazing smooth lines with pencil, i have not used charcoal on it though. You can find these at any art supply store, and perhaps even a book store that carries a journal section. Moleskins are used by many writers as well.
