What is the best paper for printing digital scrapbook paper backgrounds?
I want to use digital scrapbook paper and would like suggestions on the best paper for printing them out. I make greeting cards and I've been told that a good quality matte photo paper is good for this. Any other ideas for me?
By digital papers I mean background scrapbook paper or cardmaking papers that are downloaded digitally from the net to a graphics program. They can then be printed for use as scrapbook or greeting card backgrounds. I'm looking for the best quality paper in order to print these 6x6 images as crisply as possible.
These printouts would then be adhered to cardstock for card-making.

Scrappy answers:
For digital scrapbooking eh? Or do you want material for greeting cards?
Personally for greeting cards, I'm not sure i'd use a "matte photo paper" because that isn't exactly a proper term for what you want to get. If you want to get matte paper for printing off on a laser printer ("Digital paper" could mean anything), then I would suggest getting one of the following:

Cougar, Hammermill, Finch, and Neenah are all reliable, dependable brands that you should be able to find in your local store. Personally, I run with a lot of varied stocks for digital and I've always preferred Finch, but you may find a paper that really pops out at you when you go looking.
If you want coated/gloss stock, look for a strong 10/12point paper (I'd recommend 14pt, but most machines can't run it) that will hold up well for your greeting cards.
For digital scrapbooks, I would use a lighter non-cover version of any of the ones I've mentioned above. Finch and cougar in specific are good for this.

Scrappy answers:
Actually, I LOVE my prints from http://www.scrappingsimply.com.

They ship within 24 hours & it's only $5 flat, nomatter how many pages you order!

Mandy asks…
what kind of paper do you print your digital scrapbook with?
i just started doing my scrapbooking on the computer and i usually do 12+12 sheets but my printer doesn't print pages that big any ideas?

Scrappy answers:
If I understand you correctly, your pages are 12" x 12" in size. If that is so, there is only one consumer printer that will print 12 x 12 borderless prints, and that is the Epson R1800. It is not an inexpensive printer, as the suggested price is $549 http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=53540919. I did a Google search and I couldn't find it cheaper, it is a new printer that was just released by Epson, so it may take 6 months for the price to drop. BYW - it takes 8 ink cartridges.

Want tips for storing digital scrapbook kits, papers, and elements.?
Hi, I downloaded some digital scrapbooking kits, papers and elements. Any digital scrapbooker out there has some tips for how to store them. How should I sort them out and or categories them, so that I can pull out the needed items without browsing thru all of them? Any great tips? Thank you so much!!

Scrappy answers:
I sort mine by designer.
Like I will have a file for Kay Miller and all of her scrap kits will be in that file.
Then under each designer you can do sub files like for certain holidays, or girly kits...etc...
