Boxset
This was one of my very favorite projects to complete. I made everything from the box to the books completely from the beginning.
You open the box lid and revealed is a nice sketchbook that you can easily pull out with one finger. The lid is lined with the same marbled paper that was used for the end papers of the book. After lifting the book, revealed is a secret compartment, lift that lid and there lies another sweet, smaller book. There was enough room in the secret compartment to put ephemera and other artifacts. This commission was created for a friend who traveled to Ireland and wanted to make sure she could keep some found objects as well as her sketches in one place.
